ORDINANCE NO. 2018-01 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING SECTION 2.369 OF THE SAN MARCOS CITY CODE TO REQUIRE THE CITY'S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BOARD ("EDSM") TO HOLD MEETINGS AT LEAST FOUR TIMES PER YEAR, AND AT LEAST ONCE PER QUARTER; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ANY CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. RECITALS: 1. The City's Economic Development Board has recommended that Section 2.369(d) of the San Marcos City Code be amended to require that the board meet a minimum of four times per year and to modify the current quarterly meeting requirement to clarify that the board shall meet at least one meeting per quarter. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. Section 2.369(d) of the San Marcos City Code is hereby amended as set forth below.
