I CEO or senior management staff member of <br />manufacturing film working in the city <br />1 Citizen at -large <br />1 City manager (ex officio voting member) <br />Small business owners with (125 <br />2 employees) in the city that are citizens of San <br />Marcos. <br />I City council member (ex officio voting <br />member) <br />CEO or senior management staff member of a <br />1 medium company (26-100 employees) <br />working in the city <br />I President of the Greater San Marcos <br />Partnership (ex officio non-voting member) <br />(b) The members of the board other than the ex officio members are <br />appointed for staggered three-year terms. <br />(c) The board may create ad-hoc subcommittees that also include other <br />community members to assist in the economic development efforts of the city, to <br />work on specific areas of economic development, or on specific economic <br />development projects. <br />(d) The board will have at least four meetings per year, and will meet at <br />least once per quarter regular- meet -b- ^-ii a quarterly basis, and as needed. <br />SECTION 2. In codifying the changes authorized by this ordinance, paragraphs, sections <br />and subsections may be renumbered and reformatted as appropriate consistent with the numbering <br />and formatting of the San Marcos City Code. <br />SECTION 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this ordinance is held <br />to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions of this <br />ordinance will continue in force if they can be given effect without the invalid portion. <br />SECTION 4. All ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions in <br />conflict with this ordinance are repealed. <br />SECTION 5. This ordinance will take effect after its passage, approval and adoption on <br />second reading. <br />PASSED AND APPROVED on first reading on January 16, 2018. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on second reading on February 6, 2018. <br />
