Hays County Hazard Mitigation Plan <br />1.7 Resource Review <br />Organize and Review <br />The resource review was conducted with the use of a data collection spreadsheet that summarized <br />community level information, to include: <br />• GIS Data <br />• Programs <br />• Plans and Studies <br />• Ordinances, Policies and Agreements <br />• Financial Resources <br />• People and Roles within Organization <br />Details on the specific data that was provided for each community is outlined in their respective <br />community annex. <br />Review and Incorporation of Other Sources <br />Using a data collection spreadsheet, the MPC collected plans, studies, ordinances, policies and <br />agreements that were each reviewed for possible incorporation of existing actions, regulations, policies <br />into the Hays HMP. Each community annex includes a listing of the documents that were submitted <br />and how the content was considered for incorporation in the mitigation plan. Documents requested for <br />consideration included, when applicable and available: <br />• Comprehensive Plan• Disaster Recovery, Parks, Climate Change <br />• Capital Improvements PlanAdoption, etc <br />• Economic Development Plan• Building Codes <br />• Local Emergency Plan• ISO Rating <br />• Continuity of Operations Plan• Plan Site Reviews <br />• Transportation Plan• Zoning/Subdivision/Floodplain ordinances <br />• Stormwater Management Plan• Flood Insurance Rate Maps <br />• Community Wildfire Protection Plan• Land Acquisition or Open Space Policies/ <br />Agreements <br />The State of Texas Hazard Mitigation Plan was also referenced for potential incorporation opportunities. <br />22 <br /> <br />
