Mayor Narvaiz called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. The Council adjourned into Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code Section 551.074, to discuss the employment of a public officer or employee (City Clerk) at 6:02 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz announced the Council would reconvene at 6:33 p.m. Mayor Narvaiz introduced adoption or direction to Staff on matters discussed in Executive Session. Ms. Jamison stated the Council provided directions to Staff regarding the employment of a public officer. She stated the Council will return to Executive Session to continue additional discussions regarding this issue. Pastor Lin Penland with Holland Church of Christ lead the Invocation.
