<br />128 <br />Regular Meeting November 8, 1999 Page 3 <br /> <br /> <br />for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Doiron seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on <br />emergency, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE 1999-2000 FISCAL YEAR TO <br />PROVIDE FUNDING FOR WONDER WORLD DRIVE EXTENSION ENVIRONMENTAL <br />ASSESSMENT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />~r. Cox moved for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency and Mr. Hernandez <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on first <br />reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE 1999-2000 FISCAL YEAR TO <br />PROVIDE FUNDING FOR ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY IN THE SESSOM GREENBELT <br />AREA AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Doiron moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Ms. <br />Hughson seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration reconsideration of two Zoning <br />Ordinances. The Council did not wish to reconsider either of the <br />Ordinances. The captions of the Ordinances read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY ZONING A 1.464 ACRE <br />TRACT OF UNZONED PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1625 POST ROAD AS "MF-4" (MULTI- <br />FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT [HIGH DENSITY]); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL <br />PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 1.84 ACRE <br />TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE 2200 BLOCK OF INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 35 <br />SOUTH, FROM "I" (INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT) TO "C" (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT); <br />INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br /> <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of minutes of the <br />Regular Meeting held October 25, 1999, approval of two Ordinances on <br />second reading, adoption of an Ordinance on third and final reading, <br />adoption of thirteen Resolutions and approval of two Change Orders on <br />consensus. The Council removed Items 9.B. (1), approval of Ordinance on <br />second reading, 9.D. (3), 9.D. (7) and 9.D. (13), adoption of Resolutions, to <br />be considered separately. Ms. Hughson moved for approval of the minutes <br />of the Regular Meeting held October 25, 1999, for approval of the <br />remaining Ordinance on second reading, for adoption of the Ordinance on <br />third and final reading, for adoption of the remaining ten Resolutions, <br />including the revised Resolution provided by the City Attorney to Item <br />9.D. (4), and approval of the two Change Orders as follows: Change Order <br />No.2 to the Northwest Water System Improvements Project in the amount of <br />$135,850.00 for additional work of cutting and capping mains of the City's <br />water system from the SWT campus boundary, and Change Order No.3 to the <br />Surface Water Treatment Plan Construction Contract in the amount of <br />$83,395.00 for modifications at the Comanche Booster Station on consensus, <br />and Mr. Hernandez seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Ms. <br />Hughson abstaining to Item 9.D. [1], adoption of a Resolution).
