Mr. Moseley had a nomination but learned the <br />citizen did not live in Sector 3 and this matter will be rescheduled. <br /> <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration confirmation of the City <br />Attorney's appointment of an Assistant City Attorney. Mr. Taylor <br />requested confirmation of Sherri Russell. Mr. Hernandez moved to confirm <br />the appointment of Sherri Russell as the Assistant City Attorney and Ms. <br />Hughson seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of <br />a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 2.097 ACRE <br />TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2104 AND 2106 HUNTER ROAD, FROM ~P~' <br />(PRE-DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT) TO ~C" (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT); INCLUDING <br />PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br /> <br />Mayor Moore opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak. <br />No one did, so Mayor Moore closed the public hearing. Mr. Moseley moved <br />for adoption of the Zoning Ordinance and Mr. Cox seconded the motion. Ms. <br />Hughson stated LB would be a better designation. Mr. Hernandez stated the <br />Wonder World extension will be in that area, and Mr. Patterson advised the <br />applicant was told of that possibility.
