Mr. Moseley had a nomination but learned the citizen did not live in Sector 3 and this matter will be rescheduled. Mayor Moore introduced for consideration confirmation of the City Attorney's appointment of an Assistant City Attorney. Mr. Taylor requested confirmation of Sherri Russell. Mr. Hernandez moved to confirm the appointment of Sherri Russell as the Assistant City Attorney and Ms. Hughson seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Moore introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 2.097 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2104 AND 2106 HUNTER ROAD, FROM ~P~' (PRE-DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT) TO ~C" (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. Mayor Moore opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak. No one did, so Mayor Moore closed the public hearing. Mr. Moseley moved for adoption of the Zoning Ordinance and Mr. Cox seconded the motion. Ms. Hughson stated LB would be a better designation. Mr. Hernandez stated the Wonder World extension will be in that area, and Mr. Patterson advised the applicant was told of that possibility.
