1993 Review Committee Report Pale 2 <br />AIRPORT COMMISSION <br />Reviewed by: Doris Colgin and Wayland Endsley <br />The Airport Commission is composed of seven members. This commission provides advice and <br />recommendations to the City Council in matters regarding operations and improvements at the <br />San Marcos Municipal Airport. <br />Observations <br />The members of the Airport Commission appear decisive and conducted the meeting efficiently. <br />The public was well represented at the observed meeting and public participation was welcomed. <br />This is a very important board that provides valuable advice and recommendations to City <br />Council. <br />Recommendation <br />No change <br />CEMETERY COMMISSION <br />Reviewed by: Doris Colgin and Jerry Sebek <br />The Cemetery Commission is composed of seven members. This Commission serves as a <br />community liaison regarding the San Marcos Cemetery. <br />Observations <br />The board members were very dedicated and serious about their duties, and conducted the <br />meeting very well. The suggestions and concerns under consideration by the Cemetery <br />Commission favorably impressed both reviewers. The overall performance of this board was <br />considered "excellent". <br />Recommendation <br />No change <br />CONSTRUCTION BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT & APPEALS <br />Reviewed by: Wayland Endsley and Bryan McClung <br />The Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals is composed of seven members, plus two <br />alternate members. This Board hears appeals and considers variances regarding building <br />construction codes and related activities. <br />0hcarvatinnc <br />This board meets infrequently on an as-needed basis. No meeting was held during the review <br />period.
