BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The establishment of the San Marcos Innovation District is hereby <br /> approved. <br /> PART 2. The boundaries of the Innovation District as shown in Exhibit A, attached <br /> hereto are approved. <br /> PART 3. A stakeholder advisory group for the Innovation District is hereby created <br /> and the following persons are hereby appointed to serve as members of the group: <br /> a. John Thomaides, Mayor, City of San Marcos <br /> b. Debbie Ingalsbe, Acting County Judge, Hays County Commissioner's <br /> Court representative <br /> c. Anthony Stahl, President/CEO, Central Texas Medical Center <br /> d. Carina Boston-Pinales, Splash Co-working, business owner representative <br /> e. Walter Horton, Assoc. Vice President for Research, Texas State University <br /> f. Kayli Head, Main Street Board Chair <br /> g. Steve Frayser, Executive Director, Texas State University STAR Park <br /> h. Adriana Cruz, Greater San Marcos Partnership <br /> i. John David Carson, Carson Properties, property owner representative <br /> j. Christopher Laing, Executive Director, Capital City Innovation <br /> PART 4. The stakeholder advisory group is hereby directed to approve a district <br /> governance structure, conduct an audit of innovation ecosystem assets,and develop an action plan <br /> PART 5.
