City Council Meeting Minutes September 4,2018 <br /> City's 2017-2018 Fiscal Year budget to allocate a total of $228,000 of sales tax revenues <br /> in the general fund for the purchase, installation, and make ready of a modular building; <br /> and providing an effective date. <br /> A motion was made by Council Member Derrick,seconded by Council <br /> Member Hughson, to approve Ordinance 2018-36,on the first of two readings. <br /> The motion carried by the following vote: <br /> For: 7- Mayor Pro Tern Prewitt,Council Member Gonzales, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern <br /> Gregson,Council Member Derrick, Council Member Hughson, Mayor Thomaides <br /> and Council Member Mihalkanin <br /> Against 0 <br /> 22. Consider the following amendments to San Marcos Code of Ethics: <br /> a. Setting an individual limit on contributions to candidates for mayor or city council <br /> b. Setting total limits on campaign contributions accepted by candidates for mayor or <br /> council member during an election cycle <br /> c.
