Receive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for or <br /> against Ordinance 2018-31, increasing rates established for Water, Wholesale Water, <br /> Reclaimed Water, Wastewater Treatment, and Sewer Surcharges; and including <br /> procedural provisions; and consider approval of Ordinance 2018-31, on the first of two <br /> readings. <br /> Mayor Thomaides opened the Public Hearing at 8:46 p.m <br /> There being no comments,the Public Hearing was closed at 8:46 p.m. <br /> A motion was made by Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Gregson,seconded by Council <br /> Member Gonzales,to approve Ordinance 2018-31,on the first of two readings. <br /> The motion carried by the following vote: <br /> For: 7- Mayor Pro Tern Prewitt, Council Member Gonzales, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem <br /> Gregson,Council Member Derrick, Council Member Hughson, Mayor Thomaides <br /> and Council Member Mihalkanin <br /> Against: 0 <br /> 16.
