<br /> 74 <br />Regular Meeting January 12, 1998 Page 3 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNC~ OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE 1996-64 TO CORRECT THE ALLOCATION OF <br />THE TAX RATE FOR THE 1996 TAX YEAR BETWEEN MAINTENANCE AND <br />OPERATION AND DEBT SERVICE; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />Mr. Hart moved for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency and Mr. Mihalkanin seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration removal from the table and adoption of a Zoning <br />Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNC~ OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING <br />A 1.97 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 426 LINDA DRIVE FROM "COO <br />COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO "MH" MOB~E HOME DISTRICT; INCLUDING <br />PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br />Mr. Hart moved for adoption of the Zoning Ordinance and Mr. Mihalkanin seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Moore introduced for consideration the consent agenda including approval of the Minutes <br />of the Regular Meeting held December 8, 1997, approval of the Minutes of the Special Meeting <br />held December 15, 1997, and adoption of seventeen Resolutions, on consensus. Council <br />removed Items 9.B.(1), (13), (15), and (17), adoption of Resolutions, to be considered <br />separately. Mr. MihaIkanin moved for approval of the Minutes of the Regular Meeting held <br />December 8, 1997, approval of the Minutes of the Special Meeting held December 15, 1997, and <br />adoption of the remaining thirteen Resolutions, on consensus. Mr. Hart seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. The captions of these Resolutions read as follows: <br />Adoption of Resolutions: <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNC~ OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A UT~ITY VEHICLE FOR THE FIRE <br />DEPARTMENT THROUGH THE ST ATE GENERAL SERVICES COMMISSION; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE PURCHASING <br />DOCUMENTS WITH THE ST ATE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNC~ OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A PICKUP TRUCK FOR THE PUBLIC <br />WORKS DEPARTMENT (INDUSTRIAL PRE- TREATMENT) THROUGH THE <br />STATE GENERAL SERVICES COMMISSION; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO EXECUTE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS WITH THE STATE ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNC~ OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF AN AUTOMOB~E FOR THE POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT (CID) THROUGH THE STATE GENERAL SERVICES <br />COMMISSION; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE <br />PURCHASING DOCUMENTS WITH THE STATE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNC~ OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF THREE SPECIAL PURPOSE PURSUIT <br />VEHICLES FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT (PATROL) THROUGH THE STATE <br />GENERAL SERVICES COMMISSION; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS WITH THE STATE ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />.----.-- <br />
