Mr. Mihalkanin wants to agendize the subject matter for action. Mr. Moseley requested background information regarding the contract. Mr. Mihalkanin wants the concerns addressed with representatives of BFI. (2) Mr. Cox stated he and Mr. Doiron attended a Community Task Force Meeting regarding youth. A summit is planned in San Marcos early next year. Mr. Doiron stated April 30 is National Youth Day. (3) Mayor Moore stated Student Government Day is December 9. (4) Mayor Moore stated the Urban Land Institute is planning a smart growth conference in Austin regarding regionalism and sustained growth. (5) Mayor Moore stated he has been asked to participate in Government Partnership - Census 2000 to help get an accurate count. Mr. Moseley stated TML encourages volunteerism, and this is an area where the Council can help. Mayor Moore introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Sections 551.072 and 551.073, to discuss purchase of real property (Schulle Canyon area; City-owned property on Hopkins Street); and Section 551.074, to discuss evaluation of public officers (City Manager, City Secretary, City Attorney, Municipal Court Judge). Mr. Mihalkanin moved to adjourn into Executive Session at 11:59 p.m. and Mr. Doiron seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Mihalkanin moved to reconvene at 12:36 a.m. and Mr. Doiron seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
