The 2035 Build Model results <br />depict vehicular operations on the <br />roadway network with significant <br />investment in transportation <br />infrastructure. Vehicles experience <br />more delays and higher <br />congestion in 2035 even with the <br />added roadway infrastructure. <br />The addition of new roads and <br />travel lanes will not accommodate <br />future growth on its own. It <br />is critical to evaluate the <br />transportation system holistically <br />and invest in pedestrian, bicycle <br />and transit infrastructure as well <br />as implement travel demand <br />management strategies to <br />manage the vehicular demand. <br />
