Mayor Moore introduced the City Manager's Report. Mr. Gilley stated with the new utility bills the City will include a quarterly newsletter. Ms. Hughson requested the newsletter contain the BFI collection holiday schedule. Mr. Doiron was interested in a contest to name the newsletter. Mayor Moore introduced the City Attorney's Report. Mr. Taylor stated he was seeking a consensus regarding drafting a letter to PUC regarding changing the area code of the Corpus Christi area rather than Austin area. There was consensus of the Council for a letter to be drafted. Mayor Moore introduced the City Council's Report. Mr. Cox requested a discussion item at the next Council Meeting regarding the TDOT position at C. M. Allen and Riverside Drive initiatives. Mayor Moore introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Section 551.071, to discuss matters where the City Attorney's ethical duty to the City clearly conflicts with Government Code Chapter 551 (development incentive proposal - IH35 North); and Sections 551.072 and 551.073, to discuss purchase of real property (Schulle Canyon). Mr. Hernandez moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session at 10:52 p.m. and Mr. Mihalkanin seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Moseley moved the Council reconvene at 11:21 p.m. and Mr. Hernandez seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Ms. Hughson not present to vote on this item).
