Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of minutes of the Special Meeting held December 11, 2000, approval of minutes of the Regular Meeting held December 11, 2000, approval of two Ordinances on second reading, adoption of twelve Resolutions and approval of a Change Order to the Eastside Interceptor Phase II and IH35 Relief Sewer Extension in the amount of $20,758.00 for additional professional services for Turner, Collie & Braden, Inc. to revise a portion of the proposed 18" wastewater interceptor and add a new segment of 10" wastewater sewer along Clovis Barker Road on consensus. The Council removed Item 25, approval of the Change Order, to be considered separately. Mr. Doiron moved for approval of the minutes of the Special Meeting held December 11, 2000, approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held December 11, 2000, approval of the two Ordinances on second reading, and adoption of the twelve Resolutions on consensus with Item 24, adoption of a Resolution, to include amendments as per the City Attorney's memorandum to the Council dated January 5, 2001, and Ms. Hughson seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The captions of the Ordinances and Resolutions read as follows: Approval of Ordinances on second reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 102.029 OF THE CITY CODE BY ADOPTING THE SECTOR THREE PLAN; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE TRAFFIC REGISTER MAINTAINED UNDER SECTION 82.067 OF THE SAN MARCOS CITY CODE BY THE ADDITION OF PARKING LIMITATIONS IN THE 200 THROUGH 400 BLOCKS OF WEST SAN ANTONIO STREET; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Adoption of Resolutions: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, DESIGNATING CITY EMPLOYEES TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INVESTMENT OF CITY FUNDS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AWARDING A CONTRACT TO NATIONAL CHEMICAL FOR THE INSTALLATION AND PROGRAMMING OF INSTRUMENTS FOR THE SCADA SYSTEM; AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
