She also stated other aerobics classes available in the community and their charges should be posted at the Activity Center on a regular basis. Mayor Chiu introduced the City Manager's Report. Mr. Gilley stated in connection with the Tanger/Prime Advertising Agreement, they are to provide a recap of the activity by April 15. They have asked for an extension to May 25 because they want to wait until the end of their current advertising campaign. The Council agreed it made sense to receive the report at that time. (2) Ms. Hughson stated during the Budget Workshop the Council stated they would like to have some preliminary budget information so that Mr. Gilley can receive direction regarding a potential tax increase. Mr. Gilley stated the process will begin April 30, and Staff will have approximately two weeks to put their initial requests together. Mr. Gilley stated by the end of May, the Council will have some budget information. (3) Ms. Hughson stated the Council has requested some information from CARTS and is interested when CARTS will provide the information requested. Mr. Gilley stated a CARTS report will be presented the first meeting in May. (4) Mr. Cox stated a citizen has asked him if the City had a smoking ordinance and was advised there is one in place. Mayor Chiu introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Section 551.074, to discuss the duties of the City Council. Ms. Hughson moved to adjourn into Executive Session at 9:20 p.m. and Mr. Doiron seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Mr. Moseley not present for this vote).
