RENEWAL AND EXTENSION OF A PROPERTY USE AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY <br />1. RECITALS <br />1.01. Effective Match 3, 2003, the City of San Marcos and Southwest Texas State <br />University, now known as Texas State University, entered into a Property Use Agreement (the <br />"Agreement") under which the City authorized Texas State University to use designated parking <br />areas along Charles Austin Drive and Texas State University authorized the City to use <br />designated parking areas behind Fire Station 1 downtown. <br />1.02. The Agreement was renewed and extended through August 31, 2015, <br />1.03. The Agreement was amended and restated on August 2, 2016, and the term was <br />extended through July 31, 2019. <br />1,04. The parties wish to renew and extend the Agreement for an additional three-year <br />term effective August 1, 2019. <br />IL RENEWAL AND EXTENSION <br />2.01. Section 2.02 of the Agreement allows the parties, by written agreement, to extend <br />the toren of the Agreement for such additional tune as they deem appropriate. <br />2.02.
