(1) George VonderLippe <br />of 1229 Belvin, stated Item 9 on this agenda will consider a reduction of <br />the speed limit on Bishop Street. He stated there will be a lot of <br />inconvenience. He stated the Engineering Department conducted a <br />neighborhood meeting on September 13, and a lot of suggestions were made <br />at that time. Mr. VonderLippe urged the Council to reduce the speed limit <br />on the detour route. Mayor Chiu stated he had filed a disclosure <br />affidavit-real property and left the Chambers during the remainder of the <br />Citizen comment period. Mayor Pro-Tern Hughson conducted the remainder of <br />the Citizen comment period regarding annexation of 1,253 acres (Southwest <br />San Marcos Tract). (1) Thomas Crigger, 2602 Philo, stated he reviewed a <br />copy of the service plan, and no changes had been made from the service <br />plan draft a month ago. He stated the City plans to increase their taxes <br />
