Mayor Chiu introduced a public hearing regarding an Annexation Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ANNEXING TO THE CITY A TRACT OF LAND CONTAINING 1,448.06 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, LOCATED OFF OF IH35 NORTH, NORTH OF THE BLANCO RIVER, INCLUDING THE CHAMPIONS CROSSING AND SADDLEBROOK SUBDIVISIONS (NORTH IH35 TRACT); APPROVING A SERVICE PLAN FOR THIS TRACT; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mayor Chiu opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak. No one did, so Mayor Chiu closed the public hearing. Mayor Chiu opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak. No one did, so Mayor Chiu closed the public hearing. Mayor Chiu introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Section 551.074, to discuss the evaluation of public officers (City Manager, City Clerk, City Attorney, Municipal Court Judge). Ms. Tatum moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session at 7:34 p.m. and Mr. Mayhew seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Mihalkanin moved the Council reconvene at 8:49 p.m. and Ms. Hughson seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 8:50 p.m. on motion made by Ms. Hughson and seconded by Ms. Tatum.
