Ms. Hughson asked Staff if there was any change to the draft service plan since it was released, and Mr. Gilley stated no. Mr. Cox asked if the Council could discuss the 300-foot rule requiring connection to wastewater services. Mr. Taylor stated the timing would be appropriate but cautioned the Council there was no direct tie to the annexation. Mr. Cox stated he would be interested in broader language at the next meeting amending the time of one year and options for the Council's consideration. Mr. Cox stated he would be interested in this on a community-wide basis, time requirements and the 300-foot rule. Mr. Mihalkanin agreed. Mr. Taylor stated he would work on language. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Mihalkanin, Cox, Mayhew, Tatum. NAY: Montoya, Hughson. ABSTAIN: Chiu (disclosure affidavit-real property). Ms. Hughson introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Section 551.074, to discuss the evaluation of public officers (City Manager, City Attorney, Municipal Court Judge and City Clerk). Mr. Mihalkanin moved to adjourn into Executive Session at 6:58 p.m. and Mr. Montoya seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Mihalkanin moved the Council reconvene at 11:20 p.m. and Ms. Hughson seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval City Manager for 2001-2002. Mr. Mayhew moved to salary at $108,000.00 and Ms. Tatum seconded the following vote was recorded: to set the salary of the set the City Manager's motion. On roll call the AYE: Montoya, Hughson, Chiu, Cox, Mayhew, Tatum. NAY: Mihalkanin. ABSTAIN: None. Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval to set the salary of the City Attorney for 2001-2002. Mr. Mayhew moved to set the City Attorney's salary at $81,300.00 and Ms. Hughson seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval to set the salary of the Municipal Court Judge for 2001-2002. Mr. Mayhew moved to set the salary of the Municipal Court Judge at $70,500.00 including weekend magistration and Ms. Tatum seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
