Mr. Mihalkanin moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Doiron seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ANNEXING TO THE CITY A TRACT OF LAND CONTAINING 53.989 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, LOCATED ADJACENT TO THE 5000 AND 5100 BLOCKS OF INTERSTATE. HIGHWAY 35 SOUTH; APPROVING A SERVICE PLAN FOR THIS TRACT; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Mihalkanin moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Doiron seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Moore introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ANNEXING TO THE CITY A TRACT OF LAND CONTAINING 35.43 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, LOCATED ADJACENT TO AND NORTHWEST OF BLOCK 1 OF SECTION 5 OF THE TANGLEWOOD ADDITION, OFF OF THE 200 AND 300 BLOCKS OF OAK RIDGE DRIVE; APPROVING A SERVICE PLAN FOR THIS TRACT; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Doiron moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Mihalkanin seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Ms. Hughson stated she had filed an affidavit of disclosure-real property with the City Secretary and left the Council Chambers during this item). Mayor Moore introduced for consideration the consent agenda, including approval of the Minutes of the Regular Meeting held January 24, 2000, the Minutes of a Special Meeting held February 7, 2000, approval of an Ordinance on second reading, adoption of three Ordinances on third and final reading, and adoption of twenty-two Resolutions. The Council removed items 9.D.(3), 9.D.(4), 9.D.(14), 9.13.(18), 9.D.(19) and 9.D.(20), adoption of Resolutions to be considered separately. Mr. Mihalkanin moved for approval of the Minutes of the Regular Meeting held January 24, 2000, approval of the Minutes of a Special Meeting held February 7, 2000 (Mr. Moseley and Mr. Cox abstaining on this item), approval of an Ordinance on second reading, adoption of three Ordinances on third and final reading, and adoption of the sixteen remaining Resolutions, on consensus. Mr. Doiron seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The caption of these Ordinances and Resolutions read as follows: Approval of an Ordinance on second reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 2.332 OF THE CITY CODE TO ADD TWO MEMBERS TO THE AIRPORT COMMISSION; AND INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS.
