RESOLUTION NO. 2019-166R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF TWO <br />AGRICULTURAL LEASE AGREEMENTS WITH JANSEN FAMILY <br />FARMS, INC. FOR THE LEASE OF APPROXIMATELY 87 ACRES OF <br />CITY OWNED LAND NEAR THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT <br />AND 304 ACRES OF CITY OWNED LAND NEAR THE SURFACE WATER <br />TREATEMENT PLANT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HIS <br />DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE AGREEMENTS FOR SUCH RENEWALS ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached Renewal Agreements for the Lease of City Property for <br />Agricultural Use with Jansen Family Farms, Inc. (the "Renewal Agreements") are hereby <br />approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute the Renewal <br />Agreements on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
