Mr. Hernandez moved to <br />amend to delete Part 1 Number 5 Traffic Calming Pads of $40,000 and Ms. Hughson seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Doiron moved to amend Part 1 Number 2 Housing <br />Rehabilitation to add $40,000 to make a total of $90,000 and Ms. Hughson seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. Discussion ensued. Mr. Hernandez moved to amend to fund <br />$12,683 to the Hays-Caldwell Women's Center and $24,696 to the San Marcos Housing <br />Authority and Ms. Hughson seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Hughson, Doiron, Moseley, Cox, Hernandez. <br /> <br />NA Y: Mihalkanill. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br /> <br />CouncÌI asked that this be on the next agenda with new amounts noted plus maximum amount <br />for Social Services also noted. The Council then voted unanimously for adoption of the <br />Resolution. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro-Tern Mihalkanin introduced for consideration a public hearing and approval of the <br />Budget Policy Statement for FY2000-2001 to be used by the City Manager as direction during <br />the preparation of the Budget, which is attached. Mayor Pro-Tern Mihalkanin opened the public <br />hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak. There were no speakers, so Mayor Pro-Tern <br />Mihalkanin closed the public hearing.
