directly in the Chamber's tourism promotion activities. The Chamber shall track all administrative <br />expenses related to this Contract, including any allocation of personnel resources, and report such <br />expenses to the City as part of the reports required in Section 2.13, below. <br />C. The Chamber shall maintain the CVB Funds provided by the City under this Contract <br />in a separate account, and the Chamber shall not commingle the funds in that account with any other <br />money, or maintain them in any other account. <br />D. The Chamber shall maintain complete and accurate financial records of each <br />expenditure of the CVB Funds and, at the request of the City Manager or his designee, or as may be <br />required by law, shall make the records available for inspection and review during normal business <br />hours. <br />II. USE OF CVB FUNDS <br />A. The Chamber shall expend the CVB Funds for general promotional and tourist <br />advertising for the City of San Marcos and conducting a solicitation and operating program to attract <br />visitors, minority tourists and conventions to the City. Specifically, the promotional and tourist <br />advertising under this paragraph shall be aimed at four priority target areas established by the City <br />Council: <br />1. Sports Tourism; <br />2. Cultural Arts and Heritage Tourism; <br />3. Conventions and Conferences; and <br />4. Shopping Tourism. <br />B. The CVB Funds shall be allocated as follows: $663,226.00 for the Convention and <br />Visitor Bureau program; $45,000.00 for the Convention and Visitor Bureau-Conference Center <br />Marketing Co-op; and $60,000 for the Convention and Visitor Bureau Sports Tourism program.
