• RESOLUTION NO. 2009-123R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS. APPROVING A LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />LOWER COLORADO RIVER AUTHORITY TRANSMISSION <br />SERVICES CORPORATION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A LOW POWER <br />FM ANTENNA AND FACILITY; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. After the flood of 1998 the City began the process to acquire a low power FM license <br />and permission to construct facilities necessary to use such a license. Earlier this year the City <br />was granted the license and permission to construct the necessary facilities. <br />2. The City has obtained a license agreement with LCRA Transmission Services <br />Corporation to erect and maintain radio transmission facilities at the Canyon Substation on <br />Yarrington Road. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />• PART 1. The attached License Agreement, between the City of San Marcos, Texas and <br />the LCRA Transmission Services Corporation is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Rick Menchaca, is authorized to execute the agreement on <br />behalf of the City. <br />PART 3.
