<br />Mayor Chiu called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
<br />Mayor Chiu introduced the ten-minute citizen comment period. 1. Michael Stanley thanked the
<br />City of San Marcos for repaving River Road, but there are many cars that are driving over 50
<br />miles per hour and that is very dangerous for the children in that neighborhood. 2. Gary Gooch
<br />thanked the City of San Marcos for resolving the water pressure on Sierra Circle due to the
<br />Northwest Waterline Project. 3. Camille Phillips, Oak Heights Neighborhood Representative,
<br />thanked the Council for the changes to the Sector Plan on Ranch Road 12 and Bishop Street.
<br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration four appointments to the Zoning Board of Adjustments
<br />and Appeals. Mr. Doiron moved to appoint Mike Stanley, Ms. Hughson moved to appoint Larry
<br />Rasco, Mr. Cox moved to appoint Gary Gooch and Andrew Lopez, and Mr. Mayhew moved to
<br />appoint Jane Wilson. On roll call the following vote was recorded:
<br />Mike Stanley: Doiron.
<br />Larry Rasco: Doiron, Moseley, Hughson, Chiu, Cox, Mayhew, Tatum.
<br />Gary Gooch: Moseley, Hughson, Chiu, Cox, Mayhew, Tatum.
<br />Andrew Lopez: Doiron, Moseley, Hughson, Chiu, Cox, Mayhew, Tatum.
<br />Jane Wilson: Doiron, Moseley, Hughson, Chiu, Cox, Mayhew, Tatum.
<br />Larry Rasco, Gary Gooch, Andrew Lopez, and Jane Wilson were appointed to this board.
<br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration one appointment to the Citizen Review Commission.
<br />Mr. Doiron did not have a nomination at this time and this will be rescheduled for September 11,
<br />2000.
