Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to the Cemetery Commission. There were no nominations, and this will be rescheduled. Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to the Human Services Advisory Board. Ms. Hughson moved to appoint Diane Murray, which passed unanimously. Mr. Doiron moved to appoint Carol Coughlin (resident of San Marcos), Mr. Moseley moved to appoint Fred Markham (Industrial Foundation), Ms. Hughson moved to appoint Jane Hughson (Council Member), Mayor Chiu moved to reappoint Danny Ortega (Hispanic Chamber) and reappoint Martha Tatum (Council Member), Mr. Cox moved to appoint Ted Hindson (Neighborhood Association), Mr. Mayhew moved to reappoint Don Garrett (San Marcos Board of Realtors), and Ms. Tatum moved to reappoint David Chiu (Mayor-Council Member), which passed unanimously. Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to the San Marcos Industrial Development Corporation. There were no nominations, and this will be rescheduled. Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of three appointments to the Library Board. Ms. Hughson moved to reappoint Sue Cohen and Mr. Cox moved to reappoint Shirley Austin, which passed unanimously. The remaining appointment will be rescheduled.
