The caption reads as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 57.47 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED TO THE NORTHEAST OF THE 700 AND 800 BLOCKS OF CIVIC CENTER LOOP, F~M"LW (LIMITED BUSINESS DISTRICT) TO "MF-4" (MULTI-FAMILY DISTRICT [HIGH DENSITY]), AND BY REZONING A 3.76 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED TO THE NORTHEAST OF THE 700 AND 800 BLOCKS OF CIVIC CENTER LOOP, F~M"Pif (PRE-DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT) TO "LI" (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of minutes of the Regular Meeting held September 25, 2000, approval of two Ordinances on second reading, adoption of one Ordinance on third and final reading, adoption of eight Resolutions and approval to proceed to obtain appraisals for exchange of right-of-way to be abandoned for adjacent property between the 300 Block of LBJ Drive and Guadalupe Street (Forrester-public hearing held September 25, 2000) on consensus. The Council removed Items 9.D. (1), adoption of a Resolution, and 9.E., approval to proceed to obtain appraisals for exchange of right-of-way, to be considered separately. Ms. Hughson moved for approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held September 25, 2000, approval of the two Ordinances on second reading, adoption of the Ordinance on third and final reading, and adoption of the remaining seven Resolutions by consensus and Ms. Tatum seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
