(1) Elvin Holt stated
he was in opposition to Lalo's Restaurant on Cheatham being granted a
specific use permit for the sale of alcoholic beverages. He stated
alcohol would precipitate more noise, litter and traffic in their
neighborhood. He has lived in this neighborhood since 1988 and the
neighbors enjoy a quality of life they want to keep intact. (2) Brad
Gulick stated he represents the International Business Services. His
business is located at 402 C. M. Allen directly behind Lalo's Restaurant.
He is in favor of the restaurant being allowed to sell alcoholic
beverages. (4) Johnny Garcia stated
his parents live in front of Lalo's Restaurant on Cheatham. He stated
there have been problems in the past associated with a prior restaurant at
that location.
