<br />180. <br />Regular Meeting December 4, 2000 Page 2 <br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on second <br />reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING SECTION 114.578 OF THE ZONING CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE TO <br />REVISE REGULATIONS PERTAINING TO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE SPECIFIC USE <br />PERMITS IN THE CENTRAL BUSINESS AREA ZONING DISTRICT; INCLUDING <br />PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br />Mr. Doiron moved for approval of the Ordinance on second reading and Ms. <br />Tatum seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration reconsideration of three Zoning <br />Ordinances. The Council did not wish to reconsider any of these <br />Ordinances. The captions of these Zoning Ordinances read as follows: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 12.632 <br />ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE 1700 BLOCK OF AQUARENA SPRINGS <br />DRIVE, FROM" C" (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT) AND "MF-5" (MULTI-FAMILY <br />RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT [HIGH DENSITY]) TO "MF-4" (MULTI-FAMILY <br />RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT [HIGH DENSITY]); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL <br />PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING 3.92 AND <br />4.81 ACRE TRACTS OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE 1000 BLOCK OF RIVER ROAD, <br />FROM" PD" (PRE-DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT) TO "C" (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT), <br />AND BY REZONING A 3.65 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE 1000 <br />BLOCK OF RIVER ROAD, FROM" PO" (PRE-DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT) TO "C-2" <br />(HEAVY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND <br />PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 11.661 <br />ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE 200 BLOCK OF MILL STREET, FROM <br />"C" (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT) TO "MF-3" (MULTI-FAMILY DISTRICT [HIGH <br />DENSITY]), AND BY REZONING A 6.135 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN <br />THE 200 BLOCK OF MILL STREET, FROM" M" (SINGLE-FAMILY, DUPLEX AND <br />NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT) TO "MF- 2" (MULTI-FAMILY DISTRICT <br />[MEDIUM DENSITY]); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR <br />PENALTIES. <br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of minutes of the Regular <br />Meeting held November 27, 2000, approval of two Ordinances on second <br />reading and remove from table and adoption of an Ordinance on third and <br />final reading on consensus. The Council removed Item 13, remove from <br />table and adoption of Ordinance on third and final reading, to be <br />considered separately.
