City Council Meeting Minutes February 4, 2020 <br />authorizing four one-year renewal periods to include an 8% increase in maintenance <br />costs each year and authorizing an additional $100,000.00 for any future services that <br />may be needed bringing the total contract price to $3,075,066.00; authorizing the City <br />Manager or his designee to execute the appropriate documents to implement the change <br />in service; and declaring an effective date. <br />9. Consider approval of Resolution 2020-24R, approving a Change in Service to the <br />agreement with Survalent Technology, Inc. to renew the electric SCADA System software <br />license and application used to monitor and control electric substations, transformers and <br />electrical assets in the estimated annual amount of $24,160 and authorizing three <br />one-year renewals; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the <br />appropriate documents to implement the change in service; and declaring an effective <br />date. <br />10. Consider approval of Resolution 2020-25R, approving a renewal of the agreement with <br />Certified Folder Display Services, Inc. for the distribution of media brochures to support <br />the work of the San Marcos Convention and Visitor Bureau in the estimated annual <br />amount of $21,753.05 and authorizing three one-year additional renewals for a total <br />contract price of $63,967.18; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the <br />appropriate documents related to the renewal of the agreement on behalf of the City; and <br />declaring an effective date. <br />11. Consider approval of Resolution 2020-26R, approving Change in Service No. 4 to the <br />agreement with Halff Associates, Inc. relating to the Blanco Riverine Flood Mitigation <br />Project for additional professional services to advance the project from the preliminary <br />engineering phase through the preparation of construction documents in the amount of <br />$1,194,262.50; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the appropriate <br />documents to implement the change in service; and declaring an effective date. <br />A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Mihalkanin, seconded by Deputy <br />Mayor Pro Tem Rockeymoore, to approve Resolution 2020-26R. Receive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for or <br />against Resolution 2020-28R, providing no objection to the submission of an application <br />for low income housing tax credits to the Texas Department of Housing and Community <br />Affairs for the proposed Lantana on Bastrop Multifamily Housing Project located at the <br />intersection of South Old Bastrop Highway and Rattler Road; approving findings related <br />to the application; imposing conditions for such non objection; including the requirement <br />that the applicant make an annual payment in lieu of taxes in the amount of $11,000; <br />City of San Marcos Page 7 <br />
