<br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />February 11, 2002 <br /> <br />83. <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of minutes of the Regular <br />Meeting held January 28, 2002, approval of three Ordinances on second <br />reading, adoption of two Ordinances on third and final reading, adoption <br />of nineteen Resolutions and approval of use of General Fund contingency <br />funds in the amount of $30,000.00 for legal expenses for defense of the <br />lawsuit regarding Weatherford property. The Council removed Items 25 and <br />27, adoption of Resolutions, to be considered separately. Mr. Mihalkanin <br />moved for the approval of minutes of the Regular Meeting held January 28, <br />2002 , approval of the three Ordinances on second reading, adoption of two <br />Ordinances on third and final reading, adoption of the remaining seventeen <br />Resolutions and approval for the use of General Fund contingency funds in <br />the amount of $30,000.00 for legal expenses for defense of the lawsuit <br />regarding the Weatherford property on consensus, and Ms. Hughson seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. The captions of the Ordinances and <br />Resolutions read as follows: <br /> <br />Approval of Ordinances on second reading: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING SECTION 2.362 OF THE CITY CODE TO ADD A REPRESENTATIVE OF <br />GARY JOB CORPS TO THE SAN MARCOS YOUTH COMMISSION; AND INCLUDING <br />PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING THE CITY'S 2001-2002 BUDGET TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR INCREASED <br />STAFF IN THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 114, ZONING, OF THE CITY CODE BY ADDING NEW <br />DIVISIONS TO ARTICLE 5 FOR "DPR-1" AND "DPR-2" TWO-FAMILY RESTRICTED <br />DWELLING DISTRICTS; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING <br />FOR PENALTIES. <br /> <br />Adoption of Ordinances on third and final reading: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING SECTIONS 86.197, 86.199 AND 86.200 OF THE CITY CODE TO <br />REVISE CITY UTILITY DEPOSIT POLICIES AND TO REVISE UTILITY BILL <br />PAYMENT DUE DATES, PENALTY DATES AND DISCONNECTION DATES; INCLUDING <br />PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AMENDING THE CITY'S ELECTRIC UTILITY RATE SCHEDULES TO REVISE <br />ELECTRIC UTILITY DEPOSIT POLICIES AND TO REVISE ELECTRIC BILL PAYMENT <br />DUE DATES, PENALTY DATES AND DISCONNECTION DATES; AND INCLUDING <br />PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS. <br /> <br />Adoption of Resolutions: <br />
