Mayor Chiu joined a delegation of 39 people from Central <br />Texas who will visit with 70 high tech companies in southern California <br />over the next three days. <br />Mayor Pro-Tem Hughson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Mayor Pro- <br />Tem Hughson lead the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Mayor Pro-Tem Hughson introduced the Citizen comment period. (1) Laura <br />Davila stated she wants to preserve their neighborhood and is opposed to <br />the Leah to Leah connection. She asked for a show of hands of those <br />opposed to the Leah to Leah connection and several raised their hands. <br />She stated San Marcos Transportation Advisory Board has stated the Leah to <br />Leah connection is not necessary. (2) George VonderLippe stated he was <br />* Mayor Chiu was absent at this meeting. <br />
