Ms. Hughson asked how citizens <br />will be advised of this requirement, and Ms. Huffman stated they can be <br />advised through the City Exchange, which is routinely included in utility <br />bills. The Council voted unanimously for approval of the Ordinance on <br />first reading. <br /> <br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration a public hearing and approval of <br />an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br /> AMENDING THE CITY'S ELECTRIC UTILITY RATE SCHEDULES TO REVISE <br /> ELECTRIC UTILITY DEPOSIT POLICIES AND TO REVISE ELECTRIC BILL PAYMENT <br /> DUE DATES, PENALTY DATES AND DISCONNECTION DATES; AND INCLUDING <br /> PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS. <br /> <br />Hayor Chiu opened the public hearihg. Mr. Mihalkanin <br />moved to adjourn into Executive Session at 9:38 p.m. and Hs. Hughsen <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Hr. Mihalkanin moved te recenvene at 10:13 p.m. and Mr. Mayhew seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration a public hearing regarding a <br />Zoning Ordinance (The Applicant requested the Council net consider the <br />Ordinance at this meeting. Mayer Chiu therefore announced the Council <br />would held a public hearing but would net consider the Ordinance at this <br />meeting.), the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br /> AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING A 30.66 ACRE <br /> TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 508 CRADDOCK AVENUE FROM "R-i" (SINGLE- <br /> FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT [LOW DENSITY]) TO ~PDD" (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT <br /> DISTRICT); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR <br /> PENALTIES. <br /> <br />Hayor Chiu opened the public hearing. Camille Phillips requested the <br />Council deny approval of this zoning change. She stated it was net in <br />conformance with the Sector 2 Plan.
