Jane Hughson <br />stated she wished to speak on item 25 regarding a discussion of Request for <br />Proposals for Solid Waste and Recyclable Materials Collection and Disposal. <br />She encouraged the Council to listen to the solid waste handlers who have <br />experience. She also suggested the Council start with the least amount of <br />options and then add on more options. <br /> <br />Mayor Habingreither introduced for consideration approval of two <br />appointments to the Human Development Commission. Mayor Habingreither moved <br />to appoint Carol Coughlin to complete a vacancy, which passed unanimously. <br />The remaining vacancy will be brought back at the next Regular City Council <br />meeting. <br /> <br />* Martha Castex Tatum was absent from this meeting. <br />
