Discussion on the City Council expense reimbursement policy and provide direction to <br />staff. <br />City Clerk Sherry Mashburn presented information regarding IRS per diem rates and allowable <br />reimburseable expenses. The City Council directed staff to bring back a resolution expanding <br />the allowable reimbursements for further consideration. <br />31 Executive Session <br />In accordance with the Texas Government Code §551.072-Deliberation Regarding Real <br />Property, and §551.087-Deliberation Regarding Economic Development Negotiation, the San <br />Marcos City Council convened into Executive Session at 9:59 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, <br />2009 in order to continue discussing matters pertaining to: <br />A. Deliberation on the lease or purchase of real property. <br />B. Deliberation on offers of possible incentives to entities considering locating or <br />expanding in the San Marcos community. <br />The Executive Session adjourned at 10:44 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2009. <br />32. Reconvene and Consider Action on Item Discussed During Executive Session. <br />• The San Marcos City Council reconvened into regular session at 10:44 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />September 15, 2009. No action was required from Executive Session. <br />33. Question and answer session with press and public. <br />There were no questions. <br />34. Adiournment. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Terry and a second by Councilmember <br />Jones, the City Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed, with Mayor Narvaiz having left <br />early, to adjourn the regular session of the San Marcos City Council at 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />September 15, 2009.
