The caption reads as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY BY REZONING LOT 28, BLOCK 1, OF THE SOUTH END ADDITION LOCATED AT 604 ALABAMA STREET, FROM "M" SINGLE-FAMILY, DUPLEX AND NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "R-1" SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (LOW DENSITY); INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. Mayor Chiu introduced for consideration approval of minutes of the Regular Meeting held May 13, 2002, approval of one Ordinance on second reading, adoption of two Ordinances on third and final reading, and adoption of thirteen Resolutions and approval to direct Staff to solicit proposals for a search firm for the City Manager's position, on consensus. The Council removed Item 11, adoption of a Resolution, to be heard after Executive Session, and Items 19, 20, 22, and 23, adoption of Resolutions, to be considered separately. Ms. Tatum moved for the approval of minutes of the Regular Meeting held May 13, 2002, approval of one Ordinance on second reading, adoption of two Ordinances on third and final reading, and adoption of the remaining eight Resolutions and approval to direct Staff to solicit proposals for a search firm for the City Manager's position., and Mr. Cox seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. (Mr. Mihalkanin and Ms. Hughson abstaining to Item 18, adoption of Resolution regarding an Agreement with Southwest Texas). The captions of the Ordinances and Resolutions read as follows: Approval of Ordinance on second reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE SAN MARCOS HORIZONS CITY MASTER PLAN ADOPTED IN SECTION 102.026 OF THE CITY CODE BY ADOPTING A NEW APPENDIX ENTITLED "PARKS, RECREATION AND OPEN SPACE PLAN"; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. Adoption of Ordinances on third and final reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, REVISING FEES FOR USE OF THE CITY ACTIVITY CENTER; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE CITY'S 2001-2002 BUDGET TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR THE DEFENSE OF THE WEATHERFORD V.
