Receive o Staff presentation and hold discussion on text amendments to the Gan Marcos <br />Development Code to address recommendations from the Alcohol Conditional Use <br />Permit Committee, the Housing Task Force, the Historic Preservation Commission, <br />Planning and Zoning Cunnnniooion' and recommendations from City staff concerning <br />application processing and requirements, block perimeter standards, Certificate of <br />Appropriateness appeals, Concept Plat applicability, right-of-way dimensional standandn, <br />building h/pa definitions, Neighborhood Density District zoning regulations, Character <br />District zoning negu|aUono, o new Special Events Facility use, nnuUitanni|y parking <br />atandonda, accessory dwelling units' neighborhood transitions, durable building materials, <br />detention and water quality requirements for plats of four residential lots or |eoe' detention <br />requirements outside the Urban Stormwoter Management District, delineation of water <br />quality and buffer zones, channel design for vvotar quality zone reclamation, sensitive <br />geologic feature protection zones, geological assessment waivers, and Qualified <br />Watershed Protection Plan applicability, and adoption of Appendix O of the International <br />Residential Code. Such presentation will also include an update on the status of the San <br />Marcos Strategic Housing Action Plan. <br />Bert L000breroo,City Manager, provided ubrief update regarding Phase 2o{the Land <br />Development Code (LDC) amendments. Mr. Lumbreras stated the amendments are also <br />on this evening's regular meeting agenda for consideration.
