Toview the meeting please Qoboxmxxw.sanrnavcmotx.Bov/vidmoomr <br />watch mnGrande channel 1GorSpectrum channel 10. <br />i C8!| To [>Fd8r <br />With aquorum present, the special meeting of the San Marcos City Council <br />was called morder by Mayor Hughsonat 12:03p.m.Friday, November %0, <br />2020. This meeting was held online. <br />���10WE <br />Present: 0- Mayor Pro Tem Melissa Derrick, Mayor Jane Hughoon.Council Member Maxfield <br />Baker, Council Member Saul Gonzales, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Shane Scott and <br />Council Member Alyssa Garza <br />1. Consider approval of Ordinance 2020-85. amending Ordinance 2020-81 by <br />amending the time and locations for oadv voting and election day for a runoff <br />election to be held on December 8, 2020 for position of Mayor and the one year <br />remainder of the unexpired term of Council Member Place 5' making provisions <br />for conducting the election; declaring an emergency creating the need to adopt <br />this ordinance with only one reading; and providing an effective date. <br />Amotion was made bvCouncil Member Derrick, seconded hy Council <br />Member Baker, tnapprove Ordinance 2820-05,nnemergency. <br />Mayor Hughsoothanked the Election Administrator, Jennifer Anderson and <br />her team. She also thanked Interim City Clerk, Tammy Cook for the hard <br />work that has been done for this runoff election. <br />A motion was made by Council Member Derrick, seconded by Council <br />Member Baker, to approve Ordinance 2020 85, on emergency. <br />Mayor Hughmouthanked the Election Administrator, Jennifer Anderson and <br />her team.
