EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Task 1. Proiect Management <br />Task 1 Objective: Conduct community site visits and identify potential partners <br />Task 1 Work and Deliverables: <br />• COSM will be available for initial site visits, follow up in-person meetings, and any project <br />conference calls <br />Task 2. <br />Task 2 Objective: KTB, with COSM, will plan and lead stakeholder meetings through <br />virtual focus groups <br />Task 2 Work and Deliverables: <br />• COSM will assist KTB with promotion and outreach for any events, surveys, or meetings <br />• COSM will help build a list of stakeholders <br />Task 3. <br />Task 3 Objective: KTB, with COSM, will develop a work plan to help address barriers and <br />fill gaps <br />Task 3 Work $ Deliverables: <br />• COSM will work with KTB to formulate a budget to spend subaward funds up to $100,000 <br />• COSM will work with KTB to develop the work plan for the San Marcos area, including <br />identifying potential project partners and viability, in addition to potential scalability, of <br />proposed projects and programs <br />Task 4. <br />Task 4 Objective: KTB, with COSM, will implement work plan and develop training program <br />Task 4 Work and Deliverables: <br />• COSM will assist KTB with coordinating an in-person training session focusing on litter <br />prevention tactics, messaging and public outreach, the cost of littering, and why it is important <br />to decrease litter in waterways <br />• In coordination with project partners, COSM will implement projects and/or programs outlined <br />in the work plan <br />COSM, with oversight from KTB, will make good faith efforts to ensure disadvantaged <br />business enterprises are made aware of contracting opportunities to the fullest extent <br />practicable through outreach and recruitment activities <br />Task 5. <br />Task 5 Objective: Summarize findings, successes and best practices <br />Task 5 Work and Deliverables: <br />• COSM will assist in reviewing a cumulative report outlining the successes and best practices <br />of the project <br />Memorandum of Understanding Page 2 <br />
