RESOLUTION NO. 2009 - 146R <br />• <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING AN ADDENDUM FOR A <br />TWO YEAR EXTENSION OF THE LEASE WITH KEITH <br />WHITTINGTON, PROPERTY MANAGER FOR LYNX <br />PROPERTY SERVICES, FOR THE WOMEN, INFANTS AND <br />CHILDREN'S PROGRAM SAN MARCOS SITE; AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br />ADDENDUM. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. On October 12, 1999, the City entered into a lease agreement (the "Lease") <br />with Lynx Property Services, Keith Whittington, Property Manager, for the Women, Infants <br />and Children's ("WIC") Program site in San Marcos, Texas. Since 1999, the lease has <br />been renewed for two five year periods, and the number of square feet leased has <br />increased. <br />2. The WIC Program staff has recommended that the City enter into an <br />Addendum to continue the lease for an additional period of two years under the terms and <br />conditions set forth on the attached Addendum. The WIC Program seeks only a two year <br />renewal because it is anticipated that the WIC Program will be moving into the Village <br />is Center at the end of that time frame. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The terms and conditions of the attached Addendum to renew the <br />lease with Keith Whittington, property manager for Lynx Property Services for space <br />needed for the WIC Program in San Marcos, Texas are approved. <br />PART 2.
