AIRPORT MASTER PLAN <br />during specific conditions from utilizing the runway. However, the amount of time <br />such operations can safely occur is limited. <br />As Table 4-2, Generalized Runway Length Requirements Based on AC 150/5325-4B, <br />indicates all the runways at the San Marcos Regional Airport meet the runway <br />length requirements for small aircraft (less than 12,500 lbs.) and the runway length <br />requirements for 75% of large aircraft (12,500 lbs. to 60,000 lbs.) at 60% of the <br />useful load. <br />Only Runway 8/26 currently meets the requirements for 100% of large aircraft at <br />60% useful load. The generalized runway length requirements shown in Table 4-2 <br />were derived from the nomographs contained in AC 150/5325-4B, Runway Length <br />Requirements for Airport Design. <br /> <br />Facility Requirements Chapter Page 4of 70 <br />October 2020 <br /> <br />
