<br />Based on this analysis, there are likely times during the year when the stage length
<br />and/or payload of certain aircraft would be limited when operating from the San
<br />Marcos Regional Airport. This is primarily a concern with Runway 17/35 and
<br />Runway 13/31 as they are the shorter of the three runways and are the runways
<br />used most frequently due to their wind coverage. However, the majority of the
<br />large aircraft departing from San Marcosare flying to locations within the
<br />continental United States and, consequently, are likely not required to depart the
<br />Facility Requirements Chapter Page 5of 70
