The ROFA must be clear of <br />objects except those used for air navigation or aircraft ground maneuvering <br />purposes and be clear of above-ground objects protruding higher than the <br />elevation of the RSA at the closest adjacent point. An object is considered any <br />terrain, structure, navigational aid, person, piece of equipment, or parked aircraft. <br />The FAA recommends that an airport own the entire ROFA in "fee simple" title. <br />Facility Requirements Chapter Page 18 of 70 <br />October 2020 <br /> <br />
