AIRPORT MASTER PLAN <br />Financial Benchmarking Assessment <br />As part of this inventory analysis, a financial benchmarking assessment was <br />terms/methodologies, and property development practices with other Texas <br />Airports. A total of nine airports were included in the benchmarking analysis. Those <br />airports include: <br /> Local/Regional Airports Airports in close proximity to the San Marcos <br />Regional Airport. Some commercial service airports are included in this <br />group but the analysis is restricted to only the general aviation aspectsof <br />those airports. <br />o New Braunfels Regional Airport <br />o Austin Executive Airport <br />o Austin-Bergstrom International Airport <br />o San Antonio International Airport <br /> Reliever Airports Other designated reliever airports in the State of Texas. <br />o Addison Airport <br />o Dallas Executive Airport <br />o Conroe North Houston Regional Airport <br />o Sugar Land Regional Airport <br /> Airports with Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) Other airports with an established <br />FTZ in the State of Texas. <br />o El Paso International Airport <br />The results of the assessment are expected to be utilized to develop new rates, <br />charges, lease terms/methodologies, and property development practices to make <br />the preferred development plan, defined later in this Master Planning process, a <br />reality. <br />E XISTING E NVIRONMENTAL O VERVIEW <br />This section provides an overview of the known environmental factors that should <br />be considered as part of the master planning process. <br />Inventory Chapter Page 47 of 52 <br />October 2020 <br /> <br />
