• (22)MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Porterfield and a second by <br />Councilmember Couch, the City Council voted four (4) for and two (2) opposed, with <br />Councilmembers Bose and Thomaides voting against, to approve Resolution 2009-151R, as <br />previously captioned. The motion carried. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />26. Public Hearing to receive comments for and against an annexation to the City an area <br />consisting of 26.51 acres, more or less, out of the Thomas Jefferson Chambers Survey, <br />Abstract No. 2, located south of the intersection of Craddock Avenue and Bishop Street; <br />approving a service plan for this area, including procedural provisions; and declaring an <br />emergency; and consider adoption of Ordinance 2009-59. <br />Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing at 8:00 p.m. <br />Steve Ramsey, with Baker-Aiklen Associates, reported that the property owner looks forward to <br />being a part of the community, <br />There being no further Public Comments, the Public Hearing was closed at 8:01 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Jones and a second by Councilmember <br />• Couch, the City Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed, with Councilmember Terry <br />recusing himself, to adopt Ordinance 2009-59, as previously captioned. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />27. Public Hearing to receive comments for and against an amendment to the future land <br />use map from "LDR" Low Density Residential to "MDR" Medium Density Residential for <br />a 0.3372 acre, more or less, tract of land located at 1022 Alamo Street; amending the <br />official zoning map of the City by rezoning this tract from "SF-6" Single Family <br />Residential district to "SF-4.5" Single Family Residential district; and including <br />procedural provisions, and consider adoption of Zoning Ordinance 2009-60. <br />Mayor Narvaiz opened the Public Hearing at 8:04 p.m. <br />There being no Public Comments, the Public Hearing was closed at 8:04 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Jones and a second by Councilmember <br />Couch, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to adopt Ordinance 2009-60, <br />as previously captioned.
