72 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, DECEMBER 13, 1982 PRESENT: Mayor Emmie Craddock Council Members Karl W. Brown Gerald G. Farr * John A. Kreczmer Elida A. Mendez Jaime Moore Tess Norris City Manager City Secretary City Attorney Director of Finance Director of Public Works City Planner Fire Chief A. C. Gonzalez Janis K. Womack Barbara Jean Edwards Earl Williams George Boeker Joe Garza Oscar Carpenter Also Present: Ray Harper, Dan Badwey, Shirley Wickersham, Jeff Wat- kins, Charles Stone and others. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held November 22, 1982. Mrs. Norris moved to ap- prove the minutes of November 22 and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Special Meeting held November 30, 1982. Mr. Brown moved to approve the minutes and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimous- ly. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Special Meeting held Dece~er 3, 1982. Mrs. Mendez moved for ap- proval of the minutes and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of two appoint- ments to the Tourist Development Committee. Mr. Farr moved for the reappointment of Mrs. Ann (Bob) Cooper and for the appointment of Council Member Jaime Moore and Mr. Brown seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Farr, Craddock, Mendez, Norris. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Moore. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of two appoint- ments to the Arts Subcommittee. Mrs. Norris moved to place Lynn Fulmer, Louise Master and Mrs. Maude (Bob) Ogle's names in nomina- tion, which had been submitted prior to the Council Meeting and Mr. Farr seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was re- corded: Fulmer: Brown, Farr, Mendez, Moore, Norris. Master: Craddock, Moore. Ogle: Brown, Farr, Craddock, Mendez, Norris. Lynn Fulmer and Mrs. Maude (Bob) Ogle will be the new members of the Arts Subcommittee. * John Kreczmer was not present at this meeting.
