Mayor Hughson stated Executive Session was held earlier this afternoon during the Work Session meeting. ACTION/DIRECTION FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION 32. Consider action, by motion, or provide direction to Staff regarding the following Executive Session item held during the Work Session and/or Regular Meeting: 1. Section §551.071 of the Texas Government Code: Consultation with Attorney: To receive advice of legal counsel regarding the Purchase and Sale Agreement with Pursuant Ventures Development, LLC for the San Marcos Sportsplex Project; 2. Section §551.071 of the Texas Government Code: Consultation with Attorney: To receive advice of legal counsel regarding the application of HK Real Estate Development, LLC for Proposed Permit for New TPDES Permit No. WQ0015784001; TCEQ Docket No. 2021 -0053 -MWD; SOAH Docket No. 582-21-1893; and 3. Section §551.087 of the Texas Government Code: Economic Development to receive a briefing and deliberate regarding the Project. Robot. Mayor Hughson stated direction was provided to staff on items 1 and 2. Item 3 was actually approved in open session as item #20 on the agenda. The changes requested by Council were accepted by the company. VI. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. None. VII. Adjournment. A motion was made by Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Scott, seconded by Council Member Baker, to adjourn the regular meeting of the City Council on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 9:50 p.m. The motion carried by the following vote: For: 7 - Mayor Pro Tem Derrick, Mayor Hughson, Council Member Baker, Council Member Gonzales, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Scott, Council Member Garza and Council Member Gleason Against: 0 City of San Marcos Page 22
