61 <br /> <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />July 12, 1982 <br /> <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Mrs. Mendez moved that the Ordinance be adopted on emergency and <br />Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of appointments <br />to the Charter Review Commission. Mayor Craddock moved all names <br />submitted to the City Secretary prior to the meeting be placed in <br />nomination: Jack Lindstrom, Carlos Tijerina, Betty Kissler, Gil <br />Fulmer, Berry James and John Hansen. Mr. Farr seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. On roll call the following vote was record- <br />ed: <br /> <br />BROWN: <br />FARR: <br />KRECZMER: <br />CRADDOCK: <br />MENDEZ: <br />NORRIS: <br /> <br />Lindstrom, Tijermna, Kissler, Fulmer, James. <br />Lindstrom, Tijermna, Kissler, Fulmer, James. <br />Lindstrom, Tijermna, Fulmer, James, Hansen. <br />Lindstrom, Tijermna, Kissler, James, Hansen. <br />Lindstrom, Tijermna, Kissler, James, Hansen. <br />Lindstrom, Tijerzna, Kissler, James, Hansen. <br /> <br />The five new Charter Review Commission members are Lindstrom, Tijerina, <br />Kissler, James and Hansen. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of one appointment <br />to the Environmental Advisory Board to fill a vacancy. Mr. Farr moved <br />for the appointment of James M. Pape and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of one appointment <br />to the Central Texas Higher Education Authority to fill a vacancy. Mr. <br />Farr moved the names submitted to the City Secretary prior to the meetiD~ <br />be placed in nomination: Marion Johnson and Velia Cavazos. Mrs. Men- <br />dez seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. On roll call the <br />following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />BROWN: Johnson. <br />FARR: Johnson. <br />KRECZMER: Cavazos. <br />CRADDOCK: Johnson. <br />MENDEZ: Cavazos. <br />NORRIS: Cavazos. <br /> <br />Since neither nomination received a majority vote of at least four, <br />Mrs. Mendez moved the appointment be tabled to the next meeting when <br />a full Council could make the appointment, and Mr. Kreczmer seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of three appoint- <br />ments to the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Mrs. Norris <br />moved for the approval of John Saunders, Frank Arredondo and Merry <br />FitzPatrick to the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals and Mr. <br />Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the appointment of a mem- <br />ber of the Council to attend five public meetings being held by the <br />Edwards Underground Water District in New Braunfels, San Antonio, <br />Uvalde, Hondo and San Marcos. Mr. Farr moved that the Council Mem- <br />bers sign up for the various meetings in the Council Office and Mrs. <br />Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of two appoint- <br />ments to the Building Code Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Mr. Krecz- <br />mer moved for the appointment of Ron Cauble and Arturo Espinosa (reap- <br />pointment) and Mrs. Mendez seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />
