25 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OCTOBER 18, 1982 PRESENT: Mayor Emmie Craddock Council Members Karl W. Brown Gerald G. Farr * John A. Kreczmer Elida A. Mendez Jaime Moore Tess Norris City Manager City Secretary City Attorney Director of Finance Administrative Director A. C. Gonzalez Janis K. Womack Barbara Jean Edwards Earl Williams Dinah Elwell Also Present: Chuck Willis, Jeff Watkins, David Valle, Bill Pryatel, Nina Pryatel, Ray Harper and others. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held October 11, 1982. Mrs. Norris moved to approve the minutes and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an appointment of a member to serve on the Fire Fighters Relief and Retirement Fund Board of Trustees. Mrs. Norris moved for the appointment of Earl Wil- liams and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on second reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, DECLARING A POLICY ON ATTENDANCE AT MEETINGS OF BOARDS, COMMISSIONS AND AUTHORITIES OF SAID CITY; DIRECTING THAT THIS ORDINANCE BE DELI- VERED TO THE CHAIRMAN OF EACH BOARD, COMMISSION AND AUTHORITY OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Farr moved for approval of the Ordinance on second reading and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on third and final reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED ~SEPTEMBER 29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY ZONING 0.50 OF AN ACRE OF LAND OUT OF THE J. M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO. 2, ABSTRACT NO. 17, FROM "AO" (AGRICULTURAL-OPEN SPACE DISTRICT) TO "LI" (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT). Mr. Brown moved for the adoption of the Ordinance on third and final reading and Mrs. Norris seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the adoption of a Resolu- tion, the caption which was read as follows: * John Kreczmer was not present until 7:35 p.m.
